He is not singing from his throat, he is an opera singer. You can never sing beyond the orchestra and reach the public if you sing with your throat it would be to much strain and you wouldn´t last a whole opera. He just has a dark tone to his voice like a baritone singer.

@allnyter Cavaradossi, the painter, is finishing a portrait of Mary Magdalene. While doing so, he reflects on the 'contrasted harmony' (Recondita Armonia) that both his sweetheart, Floria Tosca, and the painting are both beautiful, despite them having different colour hair etc. The climax and big note is him affirming that he painted it thinking of Tosca, hence why it is so good.

@Piccolopoeta Of course, but he is on the same level, come on he can be compared and seriously talked about, not like the jokes of a tenor that we had recently, he killed all of them, even Florez unfortunately is not that exciting anymore after hearing this.
