Abby's POV
I was sitting in my bedroom, staring at my reflection. My makeup was done perfectly; my dress was strapless and short. It was a metallic gold, with accents and a sweetheart neckline. I had simple diamond stud earrings in, but I couldn't find a necklace.
There was a soft knock on my door.
I swiveled around in my chair to find my dad in the doorway, dressed in a suit. A small pink gift was in his hand. I smiled.
"Hey baby," he said softly, walking across my room to me. "Your mom told me to come and check on you. The limo's here to take you all to the party."
"I'm just trying to find a necklace to wear," I told him.
He offered me the gift in his hand, and I took it carefully. "What is it?"
"Why don't you open it and see?" he asked me.
I tore the pink wrapping paper off the box. Beneath a white lid was a long blue velvet box. I lifted the lid and gasped; set into the fabric inside was a beautiful, diamond incrusted silver necklace. The light from my vanity table hit the stones sending light over my face. I looked up at my dad in shock.
"Happy Birthday baby girl," he whispered, leaning down to kiss my forehead softly.

The party was...
Honestly, I can't find words to describe it. All of our friends, our family, our teammates were here at the large building my parents rented for the party. The cake my mom made, a huge one with all of our names and different intricate patterns you could tell she'd spent a lot of time on. The food was delicious, and the music had people out on the floor swaying to the beat. My parents, aunts and uncles were all around, making sure no one spiked the punch or danced too provocatively.
Allie was wearing a silver dress identical to mine, and I noticed earlier that she'd been given a similar diamond necklace by Mom. Ave, Chris, and Evan got new Rolex watches. My cousins were dancing, my friends were dancing, and my younger siblings were weaving through the crowd. Mason had been the center of attention, not surprisingly. The boys' basketball buddies were passing him around between them. Those guys may be hard asses on the court and in school, but Mason brought the soft side out.
"This party is amazing," Allie said in my ear over the loud music. I smiled at her, taking the punch she offered me. "Matt won't stop looking over here at you." I blushed beneath my light makeup. Allie nudged my arm. "Go dance with him."
"I can't," I mumbled, fooling with the cup in my hands. The charm bracelet my brothers had gotten me for our birthday glinted in the flashing lights from the dance floor.
"Of course you can. Go on," she told me, smiling.
I looked at her for a second then nodded. Putting my glass down, I headed out onto the dance floor. I saw Avery out of the corner of my eye dancing like an idiot with some of his buddies. I smiled slightly before turning my attention to Matt.
Matt Jelks was a couple inches taller than my six foot frame. He was on the high school football team, a rising senior, and a top recruit across the nation at fullback. He was, in every way, drop dead gorgeous. His hair was dirty blonde and cropped short in a buzz cut. His eyes were clear blue, and his skin looked soft. He had muscles, very built in all aspects. He had a washboard stomach, which I'd caught glimpses of when he was out on the football field, and his broad shoulders and thick, toned thighs always drew my attention. Plus, he had a really nice butt.
Matt saw me approaching him, and smiled. Holding out one of his large hands, he asked, "Dance with me?"
I nodded, and he pulled me forward so that our bodies were pressed together. My heart rate sped up, being so close to him. But I didn't let that get in my way of dancing against him. We didn't get carried away or anything, and his hands didn't roam, but his eyes did. My sister and I are pretty good dancers, so I was using my skill to have fun. It was probably about fifteen minutes later that Allie came and found me.
She and I had to go to the back and change for our dance routine we'd made up with our brothers' help. It was going to be just the five of us, and of course Allie and I were gonna steal the entire performance with our sexy dance moves.
I just hope Dad and all our uncles don't have heart attacks.

It's party time :D
Please tell me what you think.
How do you think the guys will react to their dance?
Love this chapter!! Very descriptive, I could see everything;) LOL!! I'm more interested in her seeing her brother's reactions;) I bet Nick will flip too, haha:) Matt sounds like he could be a potential boyfriend, interestng^-^
I have a question:) In the former series the whole story revolved around Holly, and her two little siblings right? Is there going to be a chapter with her little sister? And her still mising her twin brother? Just curious:) Good chapter!! Cant wait for more:)

@MsForeverJustified Her brother died at the end of the first season. Her sister lives with Paul, Denise, and Frankie, though now she's at college.
