  • decipher911 when you get your hands on a firearm in any government service ATF US ARMY NAVY anything or even if you go hunting, Do you start shooting a weapon at an animal or do you start with a still target so you can understand the weapon your using. When you train you do things slow then later on you pick up speed.

  • any lengthened item of clothing can be made into a improvised weapon

the reason why the sarong gets its noteriety is because it was used in several arabian martial arts

mainly due to the fact that the sarong is a popular article of clothing in that area

it was slowed down to avoid injury in a real fight a man can catch a blow with a lengthened improvised weapon and perform a take down

  • Picture a bath towel or a T shirt... another weapon in the arsenal.

  • @decipher911 they're learning these techniques. So no they're not gonna do this in real time. They haven't mastered it.

  • Worked if enemy sleep -_-

  • the best move i think is when your wearing the sarong and u choke them from the back my sifu did it and i was amazed

  • sifu dave,

come and host a seminar or camp at my school. i think my instructor will like it. ohio, usa.

  • sir these are modern techniques traditionally the sarong or malong here in the philippines wasnt used like what is demonstrated in the video it was traditionally used to swat knives or to cover the head in modern usage we use them to block darts being shot in a usual street fight

  • Again does it make sense if you join the army or use any type of fire arm at live moving target? That's like saying why are you shooting at a still target in real life they are moving... You start off slow and then you slowly pick up speed.

  • no I'm no being ignorant but I think if you try this in a real fight you will end up in ICU along with some other guy who got into a car wreck and even he will laugh at you when he finds out that 1. you call that training 2. you even thought it would work in combat and 3. that you posted it on youtube! I think you need to work on a art called "track and field" and just run away....

  • No it called training. Do some more research prior to asserting ignorant comments. You too Penquenh-077. Regards from ASEAMA.
