In order to promote his new solo album (not officially released yet), Jim found himself the main guest of a French radio programme in late January this year, and treated his audience with a few beautiful acoustic performances... Here is one of them... ;-)
Originally called "Daydreaming", this song eventually became dedicated to Isadora Duncan and, incidentally, is
the opener of Jim McCarty's post-Yardbirds and Renaissance band - Illusion's first album "Out of the Mist" (1977) featuring Jane Relf and Jim sharing the lead vocals duties...

  • New solo gigs for Jim McCarty (with his own band) in Germany, at the beginning of May 2011!

Check out his Facebook musician and profile pages! ;-)

  • Simply Beautiful!

  • @68shamoa Thank you! ;-)

  • Great track Jim !!!!! I love Renaissance and Illusion music...

  • @Nemexhor Yes, it's great, isn't it?... My favourite too!... ;-)

    Thanks for your kind comment!

  • Back in 1983 I bought Out Of The Mist. Coincidentally at this time I had to watch a film on Isadora Duncan in college. So I always associated this song with her. Who knew I was right all along!

Anyway, I have been searching for a live version of this song by The Illusion. This at least is the next best thing.

  • Glad you enjoyed anyway!... ;-)

Check out the channel of losyardbirds... He specializes more in Live materials from Renaissance and Illusion. You might drop him a line... who knows!...
