We all wish we could change the past. For Mel that day has come. In junior high, Mel and Gabby were the biggest geeks. Of course, Mel had a crush on the most popular guy, Drew Hesler. When word spreads of Mel's crush, he plays a cruel joke on her pretending to be interested, only to turn her down in front of the entire school. Eleven years later, our ugly ducklings are now swans and Mel is a PR executive. When Mel is assigned to handle the publicity for a new restaurant, she is shocked to discover that the owner is a handsome young entrepreneur named Drew Hesler.

thru out the movie I read comments... and the negative ones I dont' get it It was a really great movie and such a cute story line I about cried at the end..... she got her man the love of her life.. so in some way the bullying the evil girl was all meant to be cuz now he in a better place in his life to give her the love she deserves.. he probably would have been a jerk otherwise..

Oh, and the funny thing is, I had a bunch of guys from HS who didn't look my way at all until I got older then they were begging me to go out! And in some ways it did feel good to say no way you ignored me in HS why should I date you NOW?! Then I realized that wasn't as gratifying as I thought. One of those guys is a great friend now. No romantic connection but friends works! SO I guess I learned a couple lessons.Totally realistic in my book. Guess everyone can't relate but I can :)

I joked when I discovered this. I only watched part one because I had to laugh at who was in it and how silly they looked. I mean come on Superbad AND Secret Life? All decked out in 80's clothes and hair! Adorable, but I thought oh wow is this gonna be stupid. Then I had nothing to watch and came back. OMG! I LOVED this movie!!!! It was so good! The cast was perfect, great storyline. It wasn't cheesy at all! It was romantic and smart and fun! And, GOD I want a date like hers! LOL Loved it!!!
