Why do we have to travel thousands & thousands of miles when Jesus & Mary can be found right here at home?

I have the real thing right here, I don't need to go there to witness the "purported" miracles. I don't believe at all this is from God at all.

Go to Mass, receive the sacraments. It doesn't get any more spectacular or miraculous than that.

This is excellent for you. We don't need to go thousands of miles to see Mary and Jesus when they can be found in the same Mass next door. HOWEVER, if it weren't for this, I can tell you personally I would not be living my religion out at all. This can provide inspiration for people like me who needed it at one point in time. I disagree in that it is from God. It is another tool of his to bring us back where we belong. Or at least that's how He used it with me.

Ahh this is not meant to be proof of God's existence. This is just meant to be some evidence so that you may take a better scientific look at this place.

If you looking for proof of God's existence, look right in his message, and look in the universe that surrounds you. Open your eyes, & it will be evident to you.

Many years ago my mum's friend had just been to Medjugorje and she introduced me to this phenomena. I didn't believe it but was interested to see what it was that had inspired her so. She showed me a video she had taken of the sun and this has stayed with me ever since... it was spiraling in the sky, with a multitude of different colours spinning off it... her husband's rosary also turned to gold... something is happening up there... :)

@Recordbhoy there is no proof anything supernatural ever happened there,even the vatican dont believe it.I never disregard science,thats my job(physiologist) but theres no science in religion,religion is blind faith,all religions are.Both god and the easter bunny have the same anmount of evidence for their existance,zero for both.

i`ve been to medja twice in the last 3yrs..1st time i went because some friends went with their families as kids in the 80`s and all they spoke about was how amazing this place was, and i never forgot the way they all spoke was amazing...28yr later and i`d totally lost my releigon,i was asked by my nephew to go with him and so i did. i seen miricals everywhere but it was how my soul reacted THAT BLEW ME AWAY i cried for 4 days! the holy spirit will visit inside you if you come here.PEACE 2 ALL

Let's not forget that only because those apparantions appear to be full of unnatural miracles and occurences, it does not means that they are nescesarily of divine origin. God is with in us, part of us, so there is no need of any intemediaries after Jesus, only the will of wanting to know him is enough to start waking hand in hand with the Most High. Dark entities crave adoration, just think about that.

Are they buying any more houses on millionaires row lately? Or custom wide wheel mercedes? I'll bet they think little Francisco and Jacinta of Fatima were mad, after seeing the Virgin, they gave awy their meager lunchs, cried for sinners and tied ropes around themselves for penance- and all for these lying pagans whom the Church has dossiers of lies on!. Communist liars , each one of them own hotels in Medjugorje.
