Video of Russian space crew landing on Mars in Moscow

Almost nine months of isolation, training and preparation have finally paid off. Two Cosmonauts have stepped out onto the Red Planet for the first time. Mars 500 may be a simulated mission, with the planet's surface recreated in the Moscow region, but the 'space walk' is monitored by Russia's real mission control.

@MrJimmyjam24 Yes, I know that. And I know the moon landings were real. There are now scientific instruments on the moon, left by the Apollo astronauts, that communicate with Earth with lasers. It was real, they went. Despite what the tinfoil hats say.

So you're really going to sit there and tell me that, right off the Lander, they found a perfectly nice Quonset Hut, complete with festive interior Christmas Lighting, that they could chill and relax in to get away from nasty cosmic radiation? I guess the Martians celebrate Christmas, and were just happy to set up a fine rest-stop for the Russians?

I guess America really HAS lost a lot of reputation in the last 12 years. The Martians used to LOVE us!

Its a 500 day experiment in Russia to simulate the journey to Mars and back.

The volunteeres have been locked in a simulated environment to see if they can last the simulated journey. It will help to better understand long term group isolation before the eventual manned mission to mars

The Russians need to catch up! The American faked moon landing footage was WAY more realistic, AND THAT WAS FILMED IN THE '60's!

I'm shocked. I thought the Russians were much further ahead in their fakedspace program. They really need to step up their game.
