Mitchie woke up. The pain in her stomach was extremely painful now but she promised herself she would eventually get used to it. Her skin had paled down to an almost paper white color. She dressed and headed off to the kitchen. When she got there she was hugged by her mother.
Connie: oh Mitchie. Caitlyn told me about yesterday. Are you feeling okay sweetie.
Mitchie: yeah. Im fine mom. Just a little tired.
Connie: how could you be tired? You went to bed at 5 in the afternoon.
Mitchie: I dont know. *thinking: this must be from not eating* so what do you want me to do?
Connie: well, you could just set the tables. Were just about done here.
Mitchie: okay.
*After she had I all set up*
Mitchie looked around, checking to see if anyone was there and once she saw no one was, she slipped out of the dining room unnoticed and went down to the lake. She sat down on the dock, dangling her feet in the cool water, letting the peace get to her. For that time she didnt have to worry about anything. Not Tess, not Shane, not her weight, not anything. She sighed contently. She lay back on the dock and stared up at the clouds. She looked at her watch a half hour later and saw it was almost time for her dance class. Great, now she had to go to Shanes dance class. She pushed herself up and walked the short distance to the dance studio. When she got there she took her place in the back of the room and waited for class to start. She started to feel dizzy but quickly shook it off. Shane entered the dance studio.
Shane: okay guys. We have a lot to make up for. So lets get started. *turns on the music*
Shane started to do the complex dance. However, only one person was having trouble. Mitchie couldnt keep up. She suddenly felt her ankles collide and she toppled into Barron. Everyone instantly stopped.
Mitchie: Im so sorry Barron.
Barron: chill Mitchie. It was an accident. You didnt mean it.
Shane: Everyone against the walls.
Everyone: *starts to go toward the back wall*
Shane: *grabs Mitchie, roughly by the shoulder* you are going to do this and do it right.
Mitchie: *surprised*
Shane: do the move again.
Mitchie: *tries but didnt have the energy* *falls to the ground*
Shane: get up and try again.
Mitchie: *stands on shaky legs* *tries again, fails*
Shane: god, cant you do anything right!? Try it again.
This was getting even more difficult for Mitchie. Her arms and legs were shaky. Her head was pounding. She was feeling dizzy as she stood on her shaky legs. He ordered her to do it again. She couldnt even get the first part of the move done before her legs gave out. The class watched the interaction confused to why she couldnt seem to stand. They couldnt figure out anything. Her body was shaking now. She laid there breathing heavily. She was making no attempt at getting up so Shane decided he would take matters into his own hands. Shane grabbed a fist full of her hair and gave a sharp tug, forcing her body to come up with it. She gasped in pain as her weak body moved with his pull. When she was back on her feet he dropped her hair and ordered her to do the move. She tried, she really did but she just couldnt do it anymore. She fell on the ground, sweating like crazy as the heat of wearing a jacket over her tank top intensified the warm feeling.
