Why don't more parents simply ignore this behavior and walk away. If children don't have an audience and don't get what they are having a tantrum about, they will learn very quickly that this is ineffective behavior. How any parent tolerates this or thinks it's cute is beyond me. It needs to be nipped in the bud very early on. Do you really want to teach your child that obnoxious behavior is OK and an effective way to get what you want?
