I need some help... Okay the thing is my girlfrien owneds two cats one it is about two years old and the other is probably about one year old one day some how they got into a figth and I guess it got too crazy to a point where they can't not be together since then at all.... What can we do???? because it's a lot of work to keep them apart...:s

That's very nice

Yes, they can be okay, or they can get testicular cancer, or they can get lots of other cats pregnant, if they go outdoors, and contribute to overpopulation of cats, so many get euthanized. I am a vet tech and it is just better to get them neutered to avoid these problems, and their "horny" feelings!

@petmomful -.- I never got my cats neutered. and they are perfectly fine.

what you did for the cats, especially for the stray cats are amazing, who on earth will did the same, just a few, I guess

this is cool!

@donbot1000 thank you for your kind heart, our pets need our love too and to have them "fixed" is an expression of loving them. I never cease to be surprised to seen how smart cats are and how they communicate with us.

God bless you, that as very nice of you!

We build a house too, where did you get the plastic strips that is in the doorway?
And what did you nail it to or glued it to

Hi! Great job on your cat house! My husband and I would like to build one like it for a cat we adopted living on our porch. He is a sweetheart but is FIV+ and can't bring him indoors with our FIV- cats. It's cold here in the mountains and even though we have shelter with a outdoor pet heating pad, we need something more permanent for our Buddy. What are the approximate measurements of your house? I know you don't use plans, but maybe an idea what the materials were you used. Thank you.
This is nice but wouldn't it be better if you took them to the humane society so they can be spayed or neutered and then adopted?
Cats are not wild animals, they have been domesticated for thousands of years and need to live indoors.

@petmomful We have taken both of these cats to our vet and had them fixed. I spent hundreds of dollars building these cat houses because we did adopt these strays and so they would have a safe, warm place to live. We are in a small town, and if I took these cats to our local humane society, they would be doomed to death because nobody would adopt them. Roscoe passed away since the filming of this video, but we had him for almost 11 years. The kitten, now over 2 years old, is still with us.

Do those heat lights turn on and off automatically? i have a cat and shes a calico, and calicos are indoor/outdoor cats, and i sometimes worry about her being cold, but i also want to prevent fires! :)

@Rand0mlyAws0m You can set the lights up on an automatic timer, available at most home stores or hardware stores. I use a lower wattage bulb with little to no risk of fire. During the warm months, we don't plug in the lights at all, for obvious reasons.
If you do put in a light bulb for heat though, don't shut your cat in the house, even at night. Let her come and go as she pleases. Thanks!

how do you know when to turn the heat lamps on and off?
pinklafitafi 8 months ago
@pinklafitafi If it's cold outside, turn the lamps on. Use a lower wattage bulb. If it warms up outside, turn the lamps off.
