Gay Debate: US declares fight against discrimination

The United States government appears to be on a collision course with many African governments after it announced that any future aid would tied to respect of gay rights. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that gay rights were basic human rights and that her government would strongly resist any attempts to criminalize homosexuality as it happened in Uganda last year. The announcement by Clinton immediately triggered sharp reactions from local leaders who were adamant that Uganda would not abandon its family and moral values because of money from donors.

Great - if demeaning the humanity of its gay citizens is more imporant to the people of Uganda than receiving foreign aid than so be it. Cut them off.

@sittingbull706 In America there are 12 states where same sex marriage is legal and 29 states where civil unions are legal. There are 35 African countries where simply being gay is a criminal offense. America is beginning to accept homosexuality and even same sex marriage, while some African countries are considering wether gays are subject to the death penalty. @Prodma000 I personally was abused at 8 years old and over the years questioned my own sexuality. It was when I began exploring my people's history and learned what had taken place did I understand knowledge of self. My youngest sister is lesbian and she too confirms my position on the issue. She stated she had always suspected this from white gay and lesbians but never to this degree! I will tell you though President Obama will not win by a landslide this time.

The population will be conditioned to not only accept the behavior but in doing so it will, over time ,"cull" the African population from procreating or having heterosexual relationships.
