@kschanaman Telling someone they are wrong and being downright rude are two different things. Be the bigger person look for the positives; maybe juppwal hasn't tried sourdough, maybe he/she has had a bad experience with scammers. Just sayin; until you walk in their shoes...

@andijab000 That was my thought.

You're wrong juppwal. Why don't you actually expend some energy and do some real research into the food chemistry of sourdough. OR, do you lack enough nutrition in your brain to even think properly to do so? I never bought any books on sourdough, just studied up on how to create the right environment for the proper bacteria to prosper and drive out the bad ones. End result, excellent food. I don't sell anything, just so you know my motives are pure. So is the bread I bake - sourdough!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
these fanatics of nutrition are sick, they like everything that is disgusting for us but eat it convinced that it's good just because someone told them it's good (usually producers and distributors of that crap)

Yay! sourdough bread. I bought a sourdough bread at the store made from spelt and it is an excellent bread and has helped my immune system.

Yes, but the lactic acid which is created in the bread reduces carbohydrate availability
