Cushing, Oklahoma TORNADO WARNING! 05-19-2010 from another camera view

@Schwarze999 We didn't get many storms here this year...and very little rain. I miss the nice thunderstorms with the refreshing rain. I don't like the danger...the tornadoes and such...but the lightning and clouds are beautiful.

Sounds like the siren is right by your house. I still have not videoed a tornado that would have me right by a siren yet. I could hear them in the distance on the wall cloud I filmed in the OKC and Yukon area in February 2009. I'm glad you didn't get hit. I filmed a wedge tornado on the same day you filmed this.

I think sirens are eerie, but cool...and they save lives, #1

@cooliesass Yes it's on Youtube. It's at a distance, but I managed to get a shot on it. I hopped back in my truck and followed the storm east, and it spawned more tornadoes around the Henessey area, but I had to go to work, so I missed out on the evening tornadoes.

Those sirens would have scared me more than the storm... As Jarhead already mentioned, it does sound like they're signaling impending death...

y'all must live on the border of several counties. or just have several different sirens close by. it sounds like you have mutliple siren types going off at once.

@cooliesass no - and neither does living in oklahoma. Or standing outside waiting for a tornado to touch down... You can fix a lot of things but you cant fix stupid.
