No we don't think staind's music is meaningful. We know that there songs are filled with lyrics that come directly from one soul to speak to another. In a time when you feel like you are the only person feeling such a way, you listen to a staind song that matches that feeling and you then know that you are not the only person who has felt so deeply in that manner. Aaron Lewis's amazingly emotional voice spills directly into your heart. If you don't feel that way then that is your loss. go away

Fair enough. I guess I could see it being perceived as hipster.

I'm not trying to take an elitist stance. All I'm saying is; why wear bands like a badge of honor on your sleeve for others to see? Are people so desperate that the grounds for social approval are based on the music they listen to? Why does it matter if Katy Perry fans recognize Staind?

Listen to what you want/like and don't expect/force approval or recognition from others.
