Yes, this is entering town from the south isn't it?. This may have been before the forest fires hit that part of Yavapai County.

I like the stretch of 89A from "Mingus West" to "Jerome".

Lost count how many times I have traveled this road over the years. Great drive

that's my home town. cant even count the number of times i've taken that drive

pussys slow as fuck

twisty but looks so much fun! I'd love to see more of your videos... But you know what, it's annoying when you can't overtake the slow driver in front of you because of the so much twisty road and blind curves... LOL... I'd love to share more of your videos.

I drove this road a couple years ago--in a stretch limo, through a blinding snow storm, and with 6 passengers. It was totally white knuckle. With no traction control, I had to crawl uphill 10mph.

makes me homesick for sure. Been away from Arizona for so long now but I have some wonderful memories. I am so glad you shared this and can't imagine how difficult it must have been to capture it on some of those hairpin curves. Inspiring to me, but I don't think I would want to ride this drive in a car as I would probably get quite car sick. LOL

lol I guess it isn't for everybody. I love this and this video is great.. Takes me way back --lived in Phoenix in the 70's and
80's and we used to ride motorcycles across this road. Nothing like it.

I live on this road at least at the northern end of it as it comes in to Prescott. It is a drive that never gets old to me and I have lived here the last few years.
It does look like the Spars, but it could also be coming up through Iron Springs Road up from Skull Valley...It's been awhile, so it's hard to tell.

Ya, it's much more fun to drive than watch.
