So the truth of science can be boring, while the popular false arguments on Fox and other 'news' sources are far more exciting. I'd rather be bored than see much of humanity dying from global warming.

I even enjoy arguing with deniers. These arguments are far more stimulating than this video, but also far less true, because we just don't know as much as Dr. Hansen.  Better to listen to him.

That's not a scientific lecture, its a shameless self-promotion to keep the horribly huge funding rolling-in for their "research". The only true "urgency" for them is making sure they steal as much money before either people wake-up and/or we move on to the next load of fear mongering BS.

@yak The climate changes based on whatever is the dominant forcing effect, period. There is no argument among scientists about this fact. And Co2 is the dominant effect. This crap you people keep bringing up about cooling in the 70's or solar activity or whatever you might have looked up on some opinionated conservative blog, is typical of those who indulge in cherry picking in order to do anything they can to support their non-scientific "theory" .

In the 70s we had Global Cooling, In the 90s we had Global Warming. Today we have Climate Change.

Yes, the climate changes with solar activity. When it increases CO2 levels increase due to thawing. When it ebbs, CO2 levels drop as the ice pack increases.

The only thing "man made" are the lies to promote global social-fascism and the redistribution enriching middle men.
