you have a 5 way toggle switch. the first posistion (pointing toward the back end of the guitar) is your bridge pickup. move it up one, and it will combine your bridge and middle pickup together. move it up again to the middle posistion that will use your middle pickup. move it up again. it will combine the middle pickup and the neck pickup. the last is the neck pickup. if you are using distortion for chords it is best to use the bridge pickup. its a cleaner sound and wont sound as muddy. :D
