Jerusalem,(Ιερουσαλήμ,Йерусалим,ירושלים, أورشليم -القـُدْس ,Їєрѹсалимъ, Hierosolyma ),
one of the five holy sees of the Byzantine Empire. During the 4th century, the Roman Emperor Constantine I constructed Christian sites in Jerusalem such as the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Jerusalem was occupied by the Saracen army in 637 A.D during the Islamic invasion of Byzantine Empire shortly after decisively defeating the Byzantine army at Battle of Yarmouk. The city has endured the Saracen (Muslim Arabs) dominion until July 15, 1099, when First Crusade has succeeded to reclaim the city. Once the Crusaders had breached the outer walls and entered the city almost every inhabitant of Jerusalem was killed over the course of that afternoon, evening and next morning. Muslims, Jews, and even a few of the Christians were all massacred with indiscriminate violence.
The Crusaders established the Kingdom of Jerusalem (Outremer) which has lasted until the Mamluk sultans eventually occupied the crusader strongholds, culminating in the destruction of Acre in 1291. The Mamluks and later the Turks kept Jerusalem under their rule until 1917. The Battle of Jerusalem resulted in the city of Jerusalem falling to British forces in December 1917. On December 11, Edmund Allenby entered the city on foot out of respect for the Holy City, becoming the first Christian to control the city in centuries. The British Mandate has lasted until 1948, after which the state of Israel has been established and reclaimed the western side as its capital. At 1967, Israel has reclaimed the eastern side of Jerusalem and declared that the united city as its Capital. This act hasn't been recognized by United Nations and still causes a major political dispute until this day, 40 years later!
Sountrack is from Cappella Romana : The fall of Constantinople, it includes the followings:
* Canon For The Council Of Florence Ode 5
** Lamentatio Sancta Matris Ecclesia Constantinopolitana

  • Because every man has the liberty of choice! Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ opened the paradise for all. But Jesus Christ does not force anyone to enter there.

In order to be forgiven for your sins, you must do penance, you must change your life, and this is difficult, many people don't like that and chose to live a sinful life. There are many things to say on this theme.

    Sorry for my English.

  • Another great video. God bless.
