This is footage which I captured six months ago when I made the three videos for the 'Oblivion 720p HD Tour'. This was meant to be the first video but I changed my mind. I was about to delete the footage since it was taking up about 10GB of space on my hard drive, but then I thought it would be a shame not to make the HDR vs Bloom comparison video. So here it is. Let me know what you guys think.

Computer Specs:
GPU = MSI R3870X2 T2D1G (1GB RAM)
CPU = Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66GHz (2.92GHz OC'd)
RAM = 4GB DDR2 (only 3GB under XP)
OS = Windows XP SP3

@knoose I don't know why some people like to get into the technical aspects of the technologies involved. Just look with your eyes and decide for yourself which one looks better; HDR or Bloom. It's a simple enough question.

@Ormaaj as far as computer games are concerned, they are comparable. At least in the way each effect is represented on screen. Simulated or not, we have 2 different choices and I am comparing them here. If you want to get into the nitty gritty of it and argue about the definitions of HDR and Bloom and whether or not they apply here, then I suggest you write a letter to the game developers.

Meanwhile, out of the two choices that are available, most people agree that HDR looks better.

@Leijonasisu Most graphics cards have a control panel that lets you enable AA while HDR is active. Just make sure the AA in the game options is set to off when you activate it in the graphics card control panel.
