@Justiceguitar Don't feel bad. My first computer was a Tandy in the early '90s. I don't even remember the specs. Back in 2007, I couldn't run STALKER on my machine at that time but I bought it anyway. Took six months before my budget allowed me to have a new rig built. Six months between the time I bought it and the first time I played it (aside from a short test run on a friend's rig).

@IggyHazard I have a better PC now after I wrote that I upgraded to a intel i7 950 and got a GTX 460 but yeah the P4 used to be top of the line but that was what 2006? lol

@DarkTiger690 Too much lag , but since you're using a shitty Pentium 4 you should have stopped all background task so S.T.A.L.K.E.R was the only application running on your system it's not a very demanding game. I have a shitty pc myself and play Half Life 2 on high settings with a good frame rate but I know how to config my computer to push it to the max.

If you can run Half Life 2 on high settings then S.T.A.L.K.E.R will run on it. I can tell by looking at the graphics that you dont need a high end pc to play this.
