Grandia PSX Justin vs Gadwin

#4 certainly lacks the difficulty to be an actual boss battle, but it's fun anyway. Justin goes solo against Gadwin in what would've been a hilarious fight if I had brought the Dragon Scale along. As it is, Justin gets hopped up on shrooms and makes a new single-hit damage record for this playthrough.

And yes, I stocked up on Power Mushrooms for later abuse. Epic Midair Cuts are likely to ensue.

Are you confusing this with the fight against Gadwin you're intended to lose? This video is later in the game.

Wow. Nice job. I remember playing this as a kid and I lost against him and I found him really hard. This.... this just showed he's a pushover with the right equipment! :o

Equipment isn't as important as tactics. Learn when and how to defend.  Endure when there's no time for anything else. Otherwise you'll eat a ton of counter damage. Then use your IP advantage to pin down the enemies so they can't act until you're ready for it.

You can't get total IP lockdown and flawless wins if you blow all your SP on high level moves. Plus it isn't nearly as fun or interesting. Especially when every single other person has already done that.
