Video Letter to the President

Created in 1996, this short video features six inner-city African-American high school students who, through the lens of a video camera, try to tell the President of the United States what they need in order to achieve their dreams and find success in life. why does it seem as though not much has changed?

Obama ain't gonna do shit to improve the suffering of the masses of black peoples, Obama is the ultimate Uncle Tom. Malcom X was one of the last true leaders of the black people. As a Native American myself I can tell you that America is evil and imperialistic, this land was stolen from my peoples and Obama is still continuing Bush's foreign policy in the Middle East and still continuing the War on Drugs which has caused the incarceration of million of blacks, and supports abortion for blacks

@chickadee248 Those "white schools" are in white communities that bring in more income. Therefore justify more tax dollars for the schools to use.

If the black community had more of an income then it could use it on schools to teach their children, but more then likely will spend the money on something stupid like 20 inch rims.

Urban schools fail, because its ran by urbaners. Plain and simple, but that pokes at the "were all equal" ideology, which is why people reject. But its still true.

I hope the kids in this video have found what they need for a true American life. I would also hope that these young adults now have not fallen prey to the belief that this administration is here to help. They should know by now their destiny through the current administration is to become a base of democrat voters to forever hope that maybe one day someone that understands them will be willing to help them not for votes but because it’s the right thing to do.

Obama's Keynesian spending has primarily just benefitted his rich political friends; he started a new war in Libya, which is no different than what Bush did in Iraq; Gitmo is still open; he extended the Patriot Act, he's against gay marriage; he hasn't provided amnesty for illegals; he extended the Bush tax cuts; he didn't go to bat for collective bargaining for public unions in Wisconsin and New Jersey and he's basically stopped talking about climate change. First, get this straight. I am not a racist. Now, for the adviice, start exercising your tongues to speak well. Learn how to prononciate the words, improve your lexicon, use proper grammar, educate yourself as best as you can and learn a marketable skill. Quit the "poor me" attitide. Elect anyone who will, Close the borders to ILLEGAL's. Make English the National Language. Stop! aid or benefits, to ILLEGAL's. Bring our military home. Stop aid to communist and socialist countries. Use money saved to stabilize Social Security and pay off the deficit. Government employees shall have the same Healthcare and Social Security as us. Make Social Security start at age 60 make it increase on the first month of each year equal to inflation. Replace Obama!
