Founded in 1848, Sacred Heart is part of a network of 21 schools in the United States. It is dedicated to the values of a Christian education articulated more than 200 years ago by Madeline Sophie Barat.
Convent of the Sacred Heart enrolls 775 girls from preschool through twelfth grade. The student body includes a diversity of ethnic, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds.
