@benzzodude if you watch the series or play the game it explains, but after they brought the artifact thing on board the ship they turned into monsters, but not before they started to go insane and turn on each other. After a while on being on board the ship they would have all become like that. Just watch the series and play the game there both awesome. I thik what i said is correct but not 100%.

Even if someone rescues her,she would die anyway.
There were NO survivors on that ship besides some serious upfucked crazy bastards,otherwise Isaac and "his" crew would know what happened and not even try landing on that ship.
It makes sense that she died...it is a prologue to the game,remember.
