"I can't do that to Romi." Nick said, apologizing to Ellen. "Dude. She's not gonna care if you kiss another girl. It's just a game." Joe said, his arm around Bailey. "Yes she will care. I'm not going to do it!" Nick yelled, running out of the room. "Someones crabby." Joe said, giving Bailey a kiss on the cheek. "Are we going to play or what?" Bailey asked, rubbing Joe's back. "What's the point? You two are the only one's that want to make out anyway. Just do it." Kevin said walking out of the room and down the stairs.
[Shannen's pov]
I watched Kevin walk down the stairs and out the front door. I didn't know why he was leaving. I didn't want him to leave. I grabbed my cell phone and texted him.
To Keby: Where r u goin?
From Keby: I need sum air. Meet me outside.
To Keby: Kk.
I put my phone in my back pocket and walked the same way Kevin had. He was sitting on the swing on the porch in a t-shirt. I got cold just by looking at him. I sat next to him and thought of something to say. He beat me to it. "Do you think you and I are a mistake?" He asked, turning to look at me. "What? No! Do you?" I asked, worry overpowering my body. "No! Of course not. I was just wondering if you felt the same way I do." He spoke, taking my hand in his. "Phew. That was a close one. I was pretty sure you were just going to break up with me." I said, laying my head on his shoulder. He looked at me and shook his head. "Not in a million years." He whispered, pushing my hair behind my ear. I thought he was going to kiss me but he instead pulled me into a hug.
[Kevin's pov]
It was now or later and I wanted it to be now. We've only been dating for a day but I want to kiss her. It's the perfect timing. I want her permission though. I got it! I pulled away from our hug and grabbed my cell phone out of my pocket. She looked at me, confusion written all over her face. I watched as she grabbed her phone from her pocket.
From Keby: Not to be pushy or anything but...can I kiss you? I'm not trying to pressure you into doing anything you don't want to do.
