This clip is slowly climbing to the top of my favorite Folgers jingle list... Awesome vid guys. I especially like the humor you all injected into the video... priceless! Especially Mr. Jimmy Dipp/ Downey Jr.! Plus there is a lot going on here musically, very intricate piece. Not to call out the Folgers police on you guys, but I thought their rules mentioned the clips couldn't have background tracks... But hey, I like this so much I'd vote for you guys either way! @Evadguitar Hey thanks so much! When we read "background" tracks we thought they meant previously recorded music, as in someone else's music. Did we do something to disqualify ourselves? What did you take "background" tracks to mean? Thanks again for the compliments.

@DanandDuffStartaBand ...continuing my reply here. So based on that reply from a Folgers rep, you guys should be fine. Word on the street is that Folgers has picked their top 10 already, but they haven't confirmed this... But good luck to you guys. I personally hope y'all make it in!

My brother and I submitted two entries, and, thinking we were following the rules, we pretty much played them live sitting in front of the vidcam...

@DanandDuffStartaBand Hey there. I took a "background" track to mean an overdub, or playing over something you had already recorded. But don't take my word for it. I checked the rules again and there is just the once sentence about it stating that "background" tracks will not be allowed, without ever defining what such a track really is... I just spoke with someone else who entered the contest who was told by folgers that a "background" track is one that isn't generated by someone in the video..
