I discuss the benefit of investing in Junk silver, the Ebay Silver Market, and plated bars.

I failed to mention in the video that I saw one of the silver plated bars going for around the spot price due to having some sort of high intrinsic value. Although there isn't a problem with buying plated pm's, make sure you're paying the appropriate price for them!

  • Premiums on eBay are high because eBay charges 9% on the sale and PayPal charges another 2.9%. So the seller has to make up 12% right off the bat.

  • Ah, I didn't know Ebay charged that much. Thanks for the info!

  • i think why a lot of stuff on ebay sells for such a high premium over spot is that it's probably bought buy someone in europe .i Know that in england if i remember well

they have a VAT wich is a tax of 30 % or so on precious metal bullions so for them its a deal they just have it shipped as a "gift" and bypass that tax .

  • @TheCristo68 If thats true then I guess the high premiums on ebay aren't that bad for UK buyers.

  • nice vid people are actually paying alot more then 7 over spot, if you include shipping costs right now im looking at a 1 oz round going for $17.65 over spot with 4 bids, crazy

  • @Sendarian1 Not to mention a 1 oz. MK round going for over $200!

    I enjoy 90% silver because:

    1. Its silver

    2. Highly liquidable

    3. Easy to start stacking even if you have a few dollars in your pocket

    4. History! Never being made anymore

    5. Sometimes numismatic -if they keep melting them, one day many will have a numismatic value, lets not forget you can get bu and proof 90% sometimes for melt.

    6. Can get 90% for melt or below melt!

    Keep it up!

  • whole video was awesome advice!!!
