Scientific name for the Tiger barb is Puntius tetrazona.Tiger barb is one of several barb species frequently kept by freshwater aquarists. It is defiantly a popular fish by advanced and beginner hobbyist.
Personally I thought you were a fugitive running from the law to have double accounts. Then I thought, what kind of fugitive talks about green tiger barbs?
No difference, except maybe the spelling. IT was probably reclassified, first barbus, then puntius, or vice versa. But people and websites stick with puntius for some obscure non suspicious reason.
