I'm about to say a fun fact! with fun things in it! The blood on sae's kimono (and mayu's sae costume) is in the shape of half a butterfly. resembling her wing. yae is the other wing even though she doesn't have blood on her kimono. thus why "The Promise" ending happens like that.

You have to wait until you go into the back room, after following Miyako's first ghost, then when she appears after you leave the back room you CAN'T go over there, and you just run down the hallway and once you pass the little wooden thing underneath the curtain, Mayu will go, "Mio..." And stay there until you come back.

@YoungestMangaka It's a costume, you unlock costumes after your first playthrough, you unlock this outfit (D) when you complete Hard Mode (PS2) / Nightmare Mode (Xbox)

Sorry, Reika's quote is "I don't want to see anymore", Sae says "kill" but it sounds like Miyako says it. Just to clear that up.
