just one note on the cucumber thing: i always peel off the outer green part and the reason is that industry sprays lots of vegetables with chemicals to make them look ''fresh'' long after they have been put on supermarket shelves so, we dont really want to absorb all this stuff while we try to deal with a problem

Wow, it looks like you are pulling your skin ALOT on that massage. What about Jojoba oil as a lubricant for that?
