  • Thank You ! This pretty much summed up the battle of Plataiai in 4 minutes now if only I could convince my lecturer to accept this as a credible source life would be perfect !

  • @TequilaAndGlitter Thanks, Do you study history ?

  • I have Romans and want to know what the meaning is for the 2 different helmets. Some of mine have no red bristles and some do. Is it a rank or a time period?

  • It's the rank. The lowest soldier with a crest was the centurion. He leaded a unit with 80 legionnaires who didnt have a crest. This unit was called ''century'' There were tribunes, too. They had a different kind of crest. They commanded a unit of 6 centuries, about 500 men. This was a cohort. A legion had 10 cohorts, 5000 men. There are also elite legionnaires that had a crest.

  • The Egyptians didn`t wear helmets `til the 1st millennium B.C., there was no cavalry, except for 2 or 4 horse chariots, only the Pharaoh could ride the chariot.

  • But this video is about the Persian War. Those are mostly mercenaries fighting for the Persians. No Egyptians in this video, though I used a few Playmobil Egyptian soldiers.
