Umm.. Jeez. My baby brother is 16 mos. old and he doesn't even talk.

It's actually very easy to teach babies to read! There are many programs out there but my favorite is a software program that takes about 10 minutes per day. Both of my kids were decoding new words by 1 year old. Check out my channel to see my kids in action. :)

And it's bullshit that they didn't teach her to read... please explain to me why people my age still can't read if she just picked it up and started. sod off.

I hope these people realize, being speech pathologists, that no one has to teach their kids language one-on-one... they just pick it up. I mean, the reading, sure, which is cool, but not language itself.

The your baby can read program definitely helped my daughter to read. At age two. She's three and can read children's books with little to no help.

Anyone ever see "Your baby can read"? Look it up on YouTube. Most babies do have the ability to do this if they are lucky enough to have parents with the time to teach them.
