You sit there and scream and yell. Then quote the Journal of Discourses, which are no way LDS beliefs. I think that honestly you're getting your information from a pastor, or a web site telling you that it's the truth. I've read the JoD's, every word. It's not what LDS people believe. But your mind is so twisted with hatred that you can't see how messed up and offensive what you're saying is. The LDS church is beautiful, pure religion... God Bless.

Interesting video- First of all, I have to say that I have been somewhat involved with the LDS church for years- I've had SIX baptismal dates and 2 interviews to be found 'worthy' enough to baptized. I have found that the LDS church beliefs on family are absolutely sexist. A man can rape or beat his wife or abuse her and she is to stay married..otherwise, they cannot progress to 'godhood'. I could go on and on about this, but my main point is- I agree with you and thanks for posting :)

windigo77, I find it most offensive to see and hear such praises for a man made church, show so much pride in it and in the strict "goodness rules" ie chastity, no alcohol...and then hear all the lies. "i dont know any mormon that believes that way...there is no predjudice..." I swear they are in an incabater. The milk or kool-aid incabater. :)

@windigo77 Stating that Adam and Eve came to Earth immortal and still very divine and then losing that through there own choice is exactly what I believe. Everyone on Earth owes them their lives. Details on how that was accomplished? I'm not sure yet. Why Brigham Young chose to use a very singular version of GOD in reference to Michael? I have no idea. That's certainly not what I've been taught. Those discourses were never canonized. They aren't immutable doctrines to live life by.

I guess that's something I'll study further. Might I just remind you though, that this was said hundreds of years ago, in a time when all people thought the same way. In fact, up until the 50s, people still thought the same way. I'm not trying to justify what Young said, I'm just asking you to broaden your hatred of racist people. In the church today, the majority of the people aren't racist against African Americans or any other race. That is all.
