Replacing all the micamold (mica and/or paper) caps under the chassis. Many are WAY out of specs. Hopefully this will cure the dial problems !!! Then showing you guys what an alignment is. Thanks to retrochad for suggestions on how to fix it, and also to bandersentv for the great video explanation on how to do an alignment ! He also pinpointed the issues with the dial, but I already figured it out beforehand....

  • @bandersentv Yah- I think for the sake of sanity, I will plan to replace them in all future recap jobs... they don't cost that much......
