let's get this out of the way so i don't come off sounding biased, yes I think Grace Potter is hot, that's besides the point, the point is i saw her and The Nocturnals play on Cee Lo Green's show today and they were amazing, like Heart before the 80s, they have the classic rock feel to them but still have elements of soul and pop and sound like their from this decade. that is all

Yeah the original is better in the eyes of some, but that's not the point. At 55 I'm just happy to see a new generation exposing their peers to classics like this. It's one thing for an old curmudgeon like me to try to get a bunch of 20-somethings and below to listen to rock classics with real talent behind them; it's another thing entirely for young people to hear them from one of their own. For the first time in a long time, I feel much better about the future of rock music in America.
