Roger's famous butt-buddy was Lee Atwater whose protoge was KARL ROVE!
[g'dam it's a small world!]
Atwater pulled off some dirty tricks shit that, to this day, makes Gordon Liddy turn green with envy. Atwater died in 1991 of a brain tumor. Ailes & Rove are still taking up valuable space.
Do they still use interstitial implant radiation for Grade 3 astrocytomas or is that an outdated adjunctive therapy modality? As you can guess, I missed that nanosymposium in Chicago
But I digress.

Great comment, again.
Yes, radioactive seeding is still being used for anaplastic astrocytoma, but Gliasite RTS has been approved by Our FDA for use on malignant brain tumors. Clinical trials are currently underway for isolated brain metastases and for newly diagnosed glioblastoma.
It's just a notch above leeching, but we're making progress.

Sounds to me like a roundabout complicated way to zap one piece of embedded fruit in a Jell-O mold w/o messin' up the integrity of the Jell-O.
At least that's how I heard it from a neurosurgeon with a penchant for food analogies.

That is one sharp neurosurgeon, despite his fixation with food analogies. He/she is correct. We are not believers in radio, or chemo therapies. They seem to destroy the integrity of the body while being only moderately successful on killing the malignant cells. The survival rates for these type of cancers is between approximately 10 to 18 months, but maybe exactly the same without such aggressive treatments, not to mention the patient's discomfort and time they spend in treatments. Sad.
