The beds were being constructed for the girls at the Hoima Hostel in Uganda. The girls are refugees from the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement Camp in western Uganda, most from the DRC Congo. The girls were sleeping on the cement floor on moldy mattresses until Think Humanity donors raised funds within less than two weeks to help these girls after the death of the hostel president, Jenipher Barega. Thanks to all that donated to this project. www.thinkhumanity.org - learn more about how to help refugees in Africa. Thanks Overlooked, Cindy Eaton family and Kim and Eric Paulsen as well as all the other donors towards this project.
