May 26th, 2010: Cornette's Commentary with Jim Cornette Part 1

Entertainment For The Boys!

This week on Cornette's Commentary, Jim Cornette talks about the latest news from ROH, Scott Hall getting arrested, Batista leaving the WWE, his thoughts on Carlito and his WWE release, what advice he would lend to Jim Ross if he were his agent, if he's surprised by Randy Orton's success coming from OVW and if he could be the next Rock or Stone Cold, his thoughts on The Red Rooster gimmick, why he thinks WWE hasn't signed Awesome Kong yet, thoughts on Brutus Beefcake, and more. Very entertaining edition to say the least!

  • Batista was a worthless worker. They tried to make him the next Goldberg or Brock Lesnar. He is nether. An athlete Dave is not, just a non talented roid freak.

  • @dpman72 nash was never that great of a wrestler

  • @jsc094020 First off, why would I name 10 workers worse than Batista? Second: in what ways: in ring talent, promotional abilities, ability to put asses in seats, how they functions behind the curtain and in the locker room?

  • If you want to be pushed in the WWE, go to the same gym as HHH. I guess that's a better deal than having to suck VKM's dick.

  • @strrb75 Nash was a wrestler? I thought he was just an ugly valet for Scott Hall.

  • @5b Batista was a worker? Must have been in dark matches or something, I never saw it.

  • @BradNC11175 Please name 10 workers in each promotion that are WORSE than Batista.

  • @BoboCarsi Kevin Nash does equal the nWo's success...he was kind of a waste of space, you had Hall on the mic and working matches, you had Hogan turn heel, work championship matches and the mic, you had Bischoff turn heel, also work the mic, the only thing Nash was good for was having a "big man" to feud with The Giant, oh until he turned heel and was a better worker, better on the mic AND a better big man than Nash, all in all, Nash was the WEAKEST of the nWo freshmen.

  • @stue083 yes he was a great release, so WCW could sign him and create the biggest stable in pro-wrestling and beat the shit out of WWF in rating/sales for several years after that.

  • keven nash, was a great release by wwf coz his title matches wer like goldbergs very quick as i remember, an he didnt talk alot like goldberg lol, wrestlemania 10 his pre match promo against shawn was proberley best not aired at all, sid was better, hall should of had is spot

NASH was crap an no good compaired to wot was about at the time like triple h

  • @5b Not to deny your points about Batista but I'd say he would be an improvement over about 3/4 or more of the current WWE & TNA rosters.

  • @5b How is that not like Goldberg?
