The first time I ever saw them was on a hot ass August Friday night at the maple leaf. The place was packed to the rafters and on fire. Ain't nothing like a great dive bar with a college crowd drinking like fish and every body in the place moving in rhythm with the music all night long. It an awesome night

maybe none of you has ever been to umbria jazz festival during summer in Italy, but he's our favourite musician! playing everyday, sometimes twice, and the last concert is always for him and his wonderfull group! we love him!!!!!!

I remember seeing him with his Dad 20 years ago in Philly... never heard of Zydeco... band starts with HOLD ON, I'M COMING... then his dad comes out looking like BB King only plaing an accordian... and he's dancing around playing a washboard with a toothpick in his mouth... hooked from the first moment... He didn't talk or sing back then and was REALLY REALLY REALLY skinny... country skinny with the conked hair... This was in Philly... it was a sight to be seen ! ! !
