@edmill After watching this....for the twentieth time again... I want to say I love the audio remix, but the video is really cool as well. It's so futuristic in a way that was dreamed of, but not yet possible in '67.
So perfect with the updated sound that I imagine was yet to be thought of in the day.
It's so strangely right now, but made of rock history all at the same time.
Oh, and when I played Doors records, I had that turntable:
SL1500 Technics ! :)

I LOVE DOORS!!! FOREVER YOUNG CRAZY!

45 people couldn't break through the other side :/

I was really impressed with your remix of that song. How were you able to, as it seems erase somethings, and bring up the volume on select parts, It sounds like you had a master of the song to work with.
I'm a huge Doors fan, so you were treading on sacred grounds, and made things actually sound more like they were suppose to
Thanks,
The doors used a bass player in the studio recordings.

@SaneInfoMan I had nothing to do with the audio portion, I collaborated on the video. However, Swamp was able to work with an original stereo track that mixed vocals full to the left and music full to the right. The rest was sheer Swamp magic:)

You know, the doors never had a bass player - it was Ray playing with his feet on pedals.
This is great. It's what they could have sounded like with a real engine room!
And yes... Robbie was alwyas under-rated.

@AgentJayZ Most of the time, Ray played lefthand bass on a Rhodes Key Bass. They often used "real" bassists on their records, though.
I saw the Doors' last complete live performance (Dec.11,1970 State Fair Music Hall, Dallas Texas) and they had a bass player. Don't know who it was.
