Fight Like A Girl (A Jonas Sister Story...sorta) Chapter 1

first off, this story is dedicated to a good friend who lost her mom to cancer a few years back

Dr: the cancer has spread and at this rate i dont think we can stop it even with treatment. you have about a month to live.
i started crying. my brother is autistic, my mom has cancer and my dad is a workaholic. what am i supposed to do when she dies? she answered me two days later

LM: honey, you're going to move to LA and live with the Jonas Family
L: WHAT!?
LM: I want you to be able to start all over. i dont want you watching me die. you need to have a life away from the hospital.
L: but i dont wanna leave you momma
i started crying again. i think i have cried more this month than i have my entire life.
LM: dont cry baby. itll be good for you
L: when do i leave?
LM: tomorrow
L: so i guess this is goodbye?
LM: i love you honey
L: love you too momma
i hugged her as gently as possible

i went home and packed everything up. then i called all my friends, what few i had, and told them what was going on. all of them thought it was cool that i was moving in with THE jonas brothers. they didnt get the fact that i would never see my mom again. i wasnt even aloud to come back for the funeral

the next morning, my dad dropped me off at the airport and gave me one last hug before he headed to work. i didnt know the next time i would see him.

'Last call for flight 28 to LA'
that's my flight
as the plane took off i looked out my window. here i come jonas family
