    you're so lucky!

    cheers!

  • years and year the western world is trying to suppress South America especially Brazil. Now the world will see that this country will be a great economy and culture power of the world

  • Fully agree to you. It's Brazil's show time!

  • YES, and I'm American. The US has had it many times and I think it would be wonderful for Rio to have it. I just hope there is enough English speakers there. Either way GO RIO !!!!!!

  • Hi, thanks for your kind words, this is really a great and historic day for us not only in Rio but also Brazil. Trust many people in world are confident that it's time for Brazil and South America host the Games for the very first time. And don't worry about the availability of english speakers over here, there will be many people like me welcoming you and all visitors from the world.

  • I'd like to thank you for making this video about Rio. It's good to know that there are people who still respects our country. Rio will always be 'Cidade Maravilhosa'....If you saw one of my videos, make some comment. What ever!

    Thank,

    Ray

  • Hugs ;-)

  • I see, well Ive been to some places in Rio, but as a tourist, not now that I am living here...weekend is a mistery, it goes so fast I cannot hang out as often as I would like..ahah

Well, I dont care about media cash machine. I dont watch tv such as Globo, and other ones. I do prefer reading, and internet research.

I work with telecom and study Law, so I am in touch with human behavior, politics, antropo.

Violence has lots of faces, and origins..

Still loving to live here so far ahah

    hugs

  • I wouldn't say I know Rio better than you... lol. When I live in Rio I was still a teenager, and moved to New York in my early 20's. For some reason, bad news in Rio sells both internationally and within Brazil ;-( Movies such as City of God, Bus 174, Turistas were great success here as well, because people like to see bad things happening in Rio... lol. It's a bit frustrating, but it is what it is!

  • wow, so you know Rio better than me =]

well, I live in Barra da Tijuca, which is a bit different from the other neighbourhoods

Here we have lots of corporations and no favelas nearby, not like in zona sul

I feel very confortable, and I am not afraid of nothing...I feel pretty safe here

I lived in the south, Curitiba, where I was born, and there I had my car gone...

It depends on lots of issues

But I take care all the time

Media has built a fake image of Rio I guess

    hugs

  • Inveja mata. E voce, o que ainda esta' fazendo ai'?

    Rsrsrs...

  • I also lived in Rio for about 10 years, and always felt very safe where I lived (near the Sambodromo around the Downtown surroundings). How do you feel in terms of violence and safety? Would you care to share?

    Thanks ;-)

  • =]

    yeahhh

    this city is awesome

    have a nice weekend

    cheersssssss
