hey in creat mode how do u make the enemys move? i go to playter stat then press cpu for them then press aomdefual.xms i think its xms i forget then when i go to c what they r doin they do nothing what did i do wrong?

As for real life tactics, it is good to keep in mind that you should give the enemy a path to route through, as troops with no chance of victory will most likely throw all their energy at you. One better idea than surrounding an enemy completely and then moving in with your entire force is to engage the front of their army, but make it look like your flank is unguarded. When they go to flank you, you ambush their flanking force and route them. You then have their flank open to you.

You don't want to just send in myth units, because some units can counter those (ex: heroes). It's probably better to have a mixed force, so they can't counter your attack with one unit type. You can also try to rush them if you're fighting one player, although I've never bothered to learn any rush tactics for this game.

Used to love this game...

Lauren, that strategy only works for tight built villages... If the village is spread out, you can't possibly close in (with a well built defence that is). For all new players out there, here's the same tip I got when I first started playing AoM...

NAIL THE PRODUCTION!!!!

The one who wins most matches is the one with the most resourses near end-game... Just have your troops flowing out of the barracks while the opponent struggles to defend! ;)
