Those are beautiful homes! America is a jewel box full of old gems!! Another little jewel of a town thats not very well known is New Bern, NC. I would give anything to live there, perhaps one day!

Beautiful houses... although most of them are rumored to be "haunted" by spirits. I don't see Moody Mansion on here, it is a beautiful house.

i've seen most of these houses in person
my house in soon to be in the 'historic' catorgory, it was bulid in i think 1908
and survived bolth rita and ike.

Yes, Galveston did survive Katrina but will always be in danger of another Big One like the one they had in 1900. Thanks for your interest !!!
