  • Yes, Galveston did survive Katrina but will always be in danger of another Big One like the one they had in 1900. Thanks for your interest !!!

  • Those are beautiful homes! America is a jewel box full of old gems!! Another little jewel of a town thats not very well known is New Bern, NC. I would give anything to live there, perhaps one day!

  • Beautiful houses... although most of them are rumored to be "haunted" by spirits. I don't see Moody Mansion on here, it is a beautiful house.

  • i've seen most of these houses in person

    my house in soon to be in the 'historic' catorgory, it was bulid in i think 1908

    and survived bolth rita and ike.
