Dynam Sonic 185 On-Board Flight - Wing View

This is a portion of an on-board flight aboard my Dynam Sonic 185 r/c glider. I've been experimenting with a few positions to place my 808 keyfob-style micro camcorder, and this is probably my favorite. The camcorder was placed on the bottom side of the left wing, and although I could aim it in any direction, I really like the 45-degree angle view with the prop in frame. The actual flight was much longer, but the camcorder likes to act up and randomly stop recording for some reason. Oh, and the date/time stamp is way off, even though I set it right before this flight. Oh, and you'll probably notice a lot of frame loss. Maybe somebody will get me an GoPro HD Hero for Xmas..........

i see you used velcro on the canopy did you need it ?

@marines0001 I put it on there for a little extra assurance. The magnet that was on the canopy side wasn't glued tightly, and when I reglued it, I didn't place it exactly right. So when I put on the hatch, the polarity of the magnets causes the canopy to pull back slightly, so it doesn't latch tightly at the front. Even with the extra support, I've had the lipo pack fly out while flying inverted at 100' or so, so you'll definitely want to reinforce everything if you plan on hotdogging!

Everything is stock, so whatever came with it. I'm not sure the exact size, I just know it's brushless, and it pulls the glider along like a rocket!

damn... that sound is absolutely terrifying! obviously the microphone picking up a whistle sound from the wind, but ahhh that's scary hahah. this plane just arrived in the mail for me, today!!! too bad I can't open it till Christmas x( Awesome video!
