  • @quizerry Oh shut up. If we keep going the way it is now, then in a few years no one will be able to afford health ins. except the rich. This is coming I for one am glad of it.

"health insurance companies are killing allot less people than the federal gov't"

    this is a complete lie

40,000 die each year because they were denied coverage & ending this horror SHOULD be "practically impossible to get rid of"

    insurance companies

    - deny coverage to children

    - drop coverage if get really ill

    - stop paying if your illness is costly

    - spend premiums on deception instead of care

to say it's "preposterous" to stop this is just delusional lunacy or vapid ignorance

  • @jasonsadventure the health insurance companies are killing allot less people than the federal government is going to after it bankrupts the insurance companies and then realizes that it can afford this preposterous plan.

  • @jasonsadventure yeah but with this health care bill it is going to be practically impossible to get rid of, there is no walking away from this.

Also i do not believe that it is the governments position to make car companies install seat belts.... if i want a care with seat belts then ill buy one. the government should not enforce babysitting laws. By not wearing a seat belt i endanger one person, me. if i am willing to endanger my self than that is my fault an my responsibility, not govco's

  • @nubemuffin

though i agree we don't have the choice to abandon government we can vote them out.

the dollar bill did not force the auto industry to install seat belts or airbags, didn't create child labor laws, didn't stop chemical companies from dumbing carcinogens in our air & drinking water, didn't break-up the monopoly power of standard oil,

& it would not stop the "health" insurance industry killing tens of thousands by denying insurance

    government did all that

    there's a role for both

  • @jasonsadventure The dollar bill has control over the massive corporations. If we do not like what they are doing we have the choice to abandon them, We do not have that choice when it comes to the government.... well we do, but it would be a bit more bloody.

  • @nubemuffin

i agree that government should have as little influence in peoples lives as possible

i agree that government is potentially corrupt

i agree that government should not have the power to determine who lives and who dies (why i don't support the death penalty)

but none of this is an argument against health care reform.

because i also don't trust the power of massive corporations

only the government has power over them.

  • @jasonsadventure Sorry but this comment

made absolutely no sense at all.

I think that the government should have as little

influence in peoples personal lives as possible.

I believe that the government is potentially

corrupt and therefore should have as little power

as possible. NOT the power to determine

    who lives and who dies.

  • @jasonsadventure ugh.... listen if you don't

want to save up then buy insurance by your own

free will! its your CHOICE! and that is the way it should be.

When before now has the Federal government

ever forced someone to buy a service?? it is

in complete violation of the constitution.

  • @nubemuffin

facts and truth make no difference to the mad and blind

not one of your arguments make any sense at all

you have to know it, but something angry and dark inside you makes you hold firm to something you must know is complete nonesense

rational people don't say, "save up your money so you can pay for brain surgery and then live in poverty"

something has gone wrong in your life to make you so angry & irrational

its sad and i'm sorry bro

  • @nubemuffin

wow, lie, after fabrication, after changing the topic and on and on.

so, you built your own roads? power your own house? pick your own food? build your own schools, librarys, traffic lights and deploy your own personal army, navy, air force or marine corp?

do you support government involvement in the lives of pregnant women? gay marriage? military service? terri schiavo?

ur government involvement argument is a hypocritical lie.

ur personal responsibility argument is foolish
