Another threat I see is the amount of information people are getting there every day. In the beginning people only added their friends but as facebook becomes more common so the social circle we connect with (in facebook) increases. I have friends with 900 "friends" and I can't imagine what it's like to look at that News Feed. Friend updates get lost in there, the percentage of stuff that's interesting goes way down. People maybe will try to find a more quiet corner for them and their friends.
But since Facebook is not an open space, meaning, each person is contacted only by those around them, the people they have chosen to interact with, since the news feed is not filled with just anything but filled with stuff coming from a close social circle, then how's the "untouchables" going to interact with "the rest"? Or is it just me that cares about the privacy settings?
