HUD chief resigns amid scandal and croneyism, and a criminal probe is under way, sadly Bush accepted his resignation "reluctantly"!! The guy should already be in jail just for being in charge during the housing crisis. Lehman brothers raises money to stave off fears that it is having trouble. Not to worry Lehman just ask the Federal Reserve for help they're ready and able to jump in for you and NOT for the family that can't afford their mortgage payment. More power for the FED and a total abrogation of responsibility for sound fiscal policy by the Treasury Secretary, what a shame. Get a spine Treasurer. Iraq ceasefire is good in short term but the so-called Iranian influence means likelihood of war with Iran increases. Russia and Saudi Arabia are both ready for that war. Bush presidency; a legacy to be sure-guaranteeing his place in history for misery, failed policies, etc.
