I would add that NG is reclaiming the word native to mean anyone resisting foreign occupation, colonialism, and imperialism. In this day and age of US imperialism, NG is really reppin and speaking out for not only natives of the Philippines, but also Palestine, people of color in the US, etc. That's why they express an internationalist vision of solidarity in their other song 'Work It,' where they mention Guatemalan workers among others. This is what being a revolutionary hip-hop artist means
