http://www.themediamama.com Bethesda Buzz TV http://www.youtube.com/bethesdabuzztv Bethesda is a great community,, what happened at Lululemon's was a tragdey. After the murder of Jayna Troxel Murray I put up this video in her honor. At the time I, like everyone else, thought that the two women involved had been assaulted by 2 unknown men. The video received thousands of views and caustic comments ( which I have removed due to the sensitive nature of this case). I was shocked that my community of Bethesda, Maryland had experienced such violence, this isn't New York City. As the investigation continued it was revealed that the surviving employee had murdered Ms Murray and my shock was lessened. However, after learning that 2 employees of the Apple Store heard the screaming and did not call the police, I was really upset.
What happened to my Bethesda, a wonderful small town, a tight knit community? How could someone hear screaming and not call the police? If this happened to this young women, it could happen to me or to my friends and family? And so I decided to create Bethesda Buzz TV to flood the community with human interest stories and good news about Bethesda Maryland. My mission is to connect people so that there is a strong sense of belonging. As people connect with the community I believe that people will connect and care about each other so that this never happens again. http://www.youtube.com/bethesdabuzztv
According to the store: "It is with warm and grateful hearts that we are announcing the re-opening of our newly renovated Bethesda store on Friday, June 24, 2012. The re-opening will embrace the theme of "love" in honor of Jayna Murray. More than ever, we remain committed to the people of Bethesda and look forward to continuing to share with this community the same love, passion and grace with which Jayna lived her life."
